Cardiff City are reportedly closing on a deal to sign Lincoln City midfielder Jack Moylan, per reports. The Irish international signed a new four-year deal with The Imps in March, leaving a question as to just how much this deal would cost City.

Career so far:

Moylan rose through the ranks at Irish side Bohemians, where he would go onto make seven senior appearances. After a successful loan with First Division side Wexford, where Moylan netted eight goals in sixteen games, the midfielder completed a permanent move to Shelbourne.

The midfielder's breakout season in the Premier Division with Shelbourne saw him net seven goals, with a further three coming in the FAI Cup. The following campaign, Moylan netted fifteen goals in all competitions earning himself a January move to Lincoln City.

Moylan netted four and set up one before the end of the season with The Imps. In his first full season with Lincoln, Moylan scored five and assisted three in all competitions. Despite a slow start to the recent season due to injury, Moylan played a central role in Lincoln's league winning campaign, netting twelve goals in all competitions and setting up six. The 24 year-old was named in the League One Team of the Season.

After impressing for Lincoln, Moylan was handed his first Ireland callup. The midfielder celebrated his first cap by netting a hattrick against Grenada.
