When is the actual Deadline?

The window for EFL Championship sides will close on the 3rd of February at 11pm.

So far in the January Window, The Bluebirds have recruited two new faces with Yousef Salech and Sivert Mannsverk bolstering City's ranks.

Cardiff have also had a handful of departures. Manolis Siopis, Malachi Fagan-Walcott and Tom Davies have moved on permanent deals. Ryotaro Tsunoda has moved on loan to Kortrijk, Kion Etete has also moved on to Bolton for the remainder of the season. U21 players Joe Thomas, Baylin Johnson and Jake Dennis have also gone out on loan.

Possible Incomings?

Will Alves:

Cardiff City are poised to complete the loan signing of young Leicester winger Will Alves before the deadline. Leicester City manager Ruud van Nistelrooy confirmed Alves will be joining The Bluebirds for the remainder of the season, with the Manchester United legend keen to keep a keen eye over the 18 year-old who's highly rated at The Foxes.

The Bluebirds are rumoured to be targeting another winger on loan, as well as a possibly another forward. It was rumoured City were keen on recruiting a full-back ahead of the window, whether we see further movements on that tomorrow remains to be seen.

Possible Outgoings?

Jamilu Collins:

Jamilu Collins will be leaving The Bluebirds. There's thought to be minor interest from Greece, and some on Europe but a team is yet to act on their interest. Whether it's a transfer, loan or even Mutual Termination, the Nigerian's time in the Welsh Capital is over.

Michael Reindorf:

Michael Reindorf will also depart The Bluebirds, however on a temporary basis, as he looks set to join League One outfit Bristol Rovers. Reindorf will join The Gas as they sit 18th in the table, looking to bolster their ranks ahead of a competitive run-in.

Tanatswa Nyakuhwa:

Cardiff winger Tantswa Nyakuhwa is subject of interest from Newport County. The 19 year-old is yet to make his senior debut, but has shown his talent for the young Bluebirds this season. Newport aren't thought to be prioritising the deal, however it's an option on the table, with City keen to see the winger develop on loan.

Clarifying other rumours:

Sam Amo-Ameyaw - City held an interest in Southampton winger Sam Amo-Ameyaw, however a deal didn't materialise, with the winger now set for a permanent move to Ligue 1 side Strasbourg.

Ricky Jade-Jones - Cardiff's interest in Ricky Jade-Jones has cooled, with City sealing deals with other players, after Posh stuck an extreme price tag on the forward who has six months left on his deal.

Hector Kyprianou - The Bluebirds appear to have put a move for Kyprianou on hold, with the midfielder available on a free transfer in the summer.

Ollie Tanner - Tanner will not be leaving Cardiff City this window. The winger has been absent from recent Matchday squads due to a bruised foot and illness.

Yakou Meite - It has been pushed this window that a Meite departure is unlikely. Unaware of why Meite wasn't in the squad yesterday, whether that's transfer related remains to be seen.

Conclusion:

It could be a quiet one or a really busy one tomorrow, that's the joy of Deadline Day!
