As January approaches, decisions will begin to be made on those players in on loan, and out on loan. We will have a look at the situations of those players ahead of the January Transfer Window.
Wilfired Kanga:

It looks fairly likely Wilfried Kanga will return to Hertha Berlin unless their is a significant chance of form between now and January (which is four games), for Kanga to be kept in the Welsh Capital, he would have to score a couple of goals between now and then. The Ivorian has made fifteen appearances since his summer, six of them coming from the start. Taking into account Kanga hasn't started a game since September, it's fair to assume he's not in the plans. City boss Omer Riza has already mentioned that Kanga returning to Germany in January is a possibility.
Roko Simic:

Former Kortrijk boss Freyer Alexandersson had confirmed talks over Roko Simic's return to Cardiff had began. The Croatian striker currently finds himself on the sidelines with an injury that is likely to see him out for another month or so. The twenty year-old has made just four appearances in his time in Belgium. Simic is likely to return to Cardiff next month, whether he's kept around or loaned back out elsewhere remains to be seen.
Ryan Wintle:

It's already been suggested by reliable X sources that Wintle is likely to return in January. The midfielder was deemed surplus to requirements by previous City boss Erol Bulut, but following the Turk's departure, it appears Wintle may get a life line in the Welsh Capital. The 26 year-old has made twelve appearances for The Lions, with just three coming from the start. Wintle has shown glimpses in a Millwall shirt, but looks set for a return to Cardiff where he will look to regain the form of his early days in the Welsh Capital.
Joel Colwill:

Joel Colwill has caught the eye since his summer move to Cheltenham, leading to supporters calling for his return to Cardiff. Colwill has six goals in all competitions which has seen high praise from The Robins' manager Mike Flynn. The twenty year-old has played a variety of positions, a number ten, a box-to-box and off the right in a front three. The Cymru U21 international will be one to watch in January, as City may opt to recall him, send Colwill to League One or leave him at Cheltenham where he is succeeding.
Eli King:

In terms of King's loans to date, this loan to Stevenage has been the most challenging. The twenty-one year old has been in and out of the side. King has registered fifteen appearances in all competitions picking up one assist. The Boro have a stacked midfield roster, but by all accounts King is improving when he gets his oppurtunites, with former City striker, and current Stevenage manager Alex Revell recently acknowledging King's progress since his summer arrival. Another's future that's up in the air. City have never Eli King at the same club for over six months, therefore history would suggest a recall, but we'll soon see.
Kieron Evans:

Kieron Evans has grown into his loan spell at Newport County. Exiles boss Nelson Jardim has recently converted Evans into a deep lying playmaker and Evans has responded well to the role, and is now becoming a regular starter at the League Two outfit. The 22 year-old revealed Omer Riza had been in talks recently monitoring his progress. I'd imagine Evans will remain at Newport for the remainder of the season, as he is continuing to progress steadily.
Malachi Fagan-Walcott:

Malachi Fagan-Walcott has made easy work of the National League, as expected. This has led to interest over a permanent deal from York. The Minstermen's boss Adam Hinselwood has confirmed talks have taken place over a permanent deal, with nothing agreed quite yet despite reports claiming a deal had been agreed. The Spurs academy graduate has made sixteen appearances since his Deadline Day move, netting once and assisting twice. Fagan-Walcott looks destined to a permanent departure in January, which is disappointing.
Raheem Conte:

A loan that didn't make sense at the time, and still doesn't now. Conte has made twelve appearances since his move to Woking, after a fairly good start, Conte appears to now be out of favour and looks destined to a return to Cardiff. A player blessed technically fits what Omer Riza is trying to do to a tee, and could slot in perfectly down that right hand side and provide competition for Andy Rinomhota and Perry Ng.
Josh Beecher:

Beecher has been in and out of the side since joining Cymru Premier side Barry Town. The eighteen year old has been competing with experienced EFL player Robbie Willmott for a place in the side, and has seen a good chunk of minutes. Beecher is currently working under ex-City U18's boss Steve Jenkins, and I could probably see him seeing out the season at Town.
Ewan Griffiths:

Ewan Griffiths finds himself at Premier Southern South side Plymouth Parkway and has made himself the first choice. The Parkway currently sit twentieth, but the loan is providing Griffiths a challenge and allowing him to taste senior football for the first time. Whether Griffiths stays or not remains to be seen, he may return to allow one of the other U21 keepers to go out on loan, or he may see out the season in Devon.
Wrap Up:
Some decisions to be made soon on those out on loan. The one pleasing thing is seeing our talent performing elsewhere, will only these youngsters getting minutes, and even those not playing every week, they're still picking up valuable experience!
