Cardiff City secured a late point thanks to a last-minute stunner from Rubin Colwill.

Player Ratings:

Nathan Trott (8) MOTM - Beaten by an excellent finish for Wrexham's goal. Distribution got better as the game went on. Made some real key saves at 1-0 to keep City alive; some impressive ones as well.

Perry Ng (5.5) - Just looked slightly off the pace initially, but grew into it. Worked well with Tanner. Defensively shaky at times.

Gabriel Osho (5.5) - Did well on the ball but largely struggled against the presence of Kieffer Moore; physically dominated. Did get his body in the way of a few efforts, to his credit. Positioning was concerning at times.

Joel Bagan (7.5) - The sensible and right choice alongside Osho. On the ball, particularly impressive, with some impressive diagonals to Tanner. Defensively held his own, recovering the wall particularly well.

Calum Scanlon (7.5) - A very good start to the return. Recovery pace was notably impressive, allowing Scanlon to make up for any defensive slip-ups. Got forward and retained possession well.

Alex Robertson (7) - Overall, did fairly well. A tad slow on the ball at times; otherwise, spread play okay. Out of possession, held his own and was strong enough. Set piece deliveries were varied.

Jack Moylan (7.5) - What a player. Just has that quality in his intricate touches and flicks. Worked his socks off out of possession. Far more productive out wide. Came in and out of the game, but when involved, really caught the eye.

Cian Ashford (6.5) - A far quieter performance than that we saw last weekend. Did show flashes of quality with some fine touches. Worked hard out of possession.

Ollie Tanner (6.5) - A far cuter performance than we've seen from Tanner over time, with neat link-up play and direct when needed. Final delivery still needs that extra quality at times.

Chris Willock (6) - A quiet evening. When involved, neat and retained possession well. Did his defensive work well enough.

Yousef Salech (6) - Same as Willock in many ways. Did fairly well in the air.

Subs:

Rubin Colwill (8) - Incredible. What a goal and an incredible welcome back to the Championship! When moved deeper, dictated the play very well.

Joel Colwill (7) - Made some positive forward runs. Drove well with the ball, too.

Ronan Kpakio (6.5) - Another who made a positive impact. Made forward runs and worked well with Isaak Davies.

Isaak Davies (6.5) - Same as Kpakio. Direct and looked like a threat.

Callum Robinson (6.5) - Quietly did quite well, linked things up nicely. Some nice movements.

Summary:

A dramatic point, but that's just how we do it. Still so much more to come from this squad and head coach.
