Cardiff City were beaten by Luton Town this evening, making the gap between The Bluebirds and the bottom three now one point.

The first real clear-cut chance came in the second half as Calum Chambers fired City into the lead. The ball fell to Chambers on the left foot and the midfielder's left footed volley found the back of the net.
Luton were soon level through Jordan Clark. The midfielder's sweet effort from the edge of the box left Ethan Horvath rooted to the spot, and got the visitors level.
Chambers and City almost had a second, as the ball fell to the midfielder twenty-five yards from goal, the midfielder went for the spectacular on the volley but was denied by the crossbar.
The Hatters made Cardiff pay soon after. Thelo Aasgaard was handed a treat by the Cardiff defence and slotted past Horvath to secure the three points for the visitors.
Player Ratings:
Ethan Horvath (6) - Decent saves to deny Walsh and Morris. Not sure he can do a great deal for either goal.
Perry Ng (6) - Defensively sound and routine, struggled to muster anything up offensively despite getting in some promising positions.
Dimitrios Goutas (4) - Had a handful with Morris and Adebayo, and did okay. Handed Aasgaard a treat, and one that could prove coslty in City's season.
Will Fish (8) MOTM - A rock at the back for City. Almost flawless defensively with several blocks and clearances. Assured on the ball.
Callum O'Dowda (6) - Similar to Ng. You were waiting for him to burst into life offensively, just didn't happen this evening.
Calum Chambers (7) - Cracking finish for his goal, unlucky not to score another. Similar frustration on the ball, seemed to slow things down.
Aaron Ramsey (7) - Dictated things early on and was smooth on the ball, as well as making some great forward runs. A shame to see him go off the way he did.
Will Alves (6.5) - Looked a spark when he was actually given the ball, direct and quick. Found him in space almost all game, for some reason not trusted by his team mates.
Alex Robertson (5) - Sloppy and very unlike Alex Robertson. Caught in possession consistently and poor set piece delivery.
Rubin Colwill (5.5) - Went how Colwill on the wing typically goes. Tried his hardest but he's just not a winger.
Yousef Salech (6) - Just not in the game through no fault of his own. Linked up play quite well and was decent in the air, given very little supply.
Subs:
Sivert Mannsverk (6.5) - Looked like he had a fire in his belly. Carried the ball well.
Chris Willock (6.5) - Same as Mannsverk.
Callum Robinson (6) - Failed to really get involved, not through a lack of effort.
Isaak Davies (6) - Same as Robinson.
Yakou Meite (N/A)
Summary:
We made what could've been a plain-sailing run-in an extremely difficult and tense one now.
