TIRED CARDIFF BLOW LEAD AGAINST HAMMERS

Despite going in at half-time 3-0 to the good, the Bluebirds were forced to share the points with West Ham after a second-half comeback saw the game end 3-3.

Player Ratings:
Nathan Trott (7.5) - Made some sensational saves to stop this from ending in quite an embarrassing defeat. Distribution was varied, but generally solid.
Perry Ng (7) - Did a good job on Solomon. Caught out once or twice, but generally held his own. Makes the penalty through an excellent ball in behind, the same great ball he played on a few occasions.
Will Fish (6) - Failed to really ever take control or command the game. Aerially did fairly well; otherwise struggled defensively. On the ball, quite decent.
Joel Bagan (6.5) - Same story as Fish, really. Nice to get an assist, with a dangerous delivery from a corner. On the ball, did well, just struggled, particularly when West Ham put their foot on the gas.
Calum Scanlon (5) - Had a decent first half, but struggled in the second half when Jarrod Bowen turned it on. Being overeager allowed Bowen the space to provide the first. One or two offensive signs, but generally lacked the desired quality.
Alex Robertson (4) - A great ball to find Jack Moylan for the first. However, defensively, he was not very good, losing his man for every single goal. Lack of awareness of runners from midfield was a real concern.
Rubin Colwill (6.5) - A fairly quiet game by Rubin's standards, but he was clearly doing something right given what unfolded when he was substituted. Usual quality in possession and solid out of possession.
Jack Moylan (10) MOTM - The man of the moment. The first goal is from the very top draw, given room and made West Ham pay with such a good finish. Penalty showed one or two how to do it: power and precision. Excellent movement and a header to secure the hat-trick. What a player Cardiff City have on their hands.
Ollie Tanner (6) - Probably summarised the Bluebirds in a player. First half caused real problems; Morato couldn't deal with Tanner. However, looked absolutely knackered in the second half, as shown by some sloppy pieces in possession. Did well out of possession.
Chris Willock (6.5) - Was doing very well to relieve pressure for Cardiff, holding the ball up well and pinning Bowen back. Final delivery needed a touch more quality, but generally did his job well.
Yousef Salech (4) - Wasn't given a fair gig by the referee; however, failed at the basics of why he is in the team. Read the game poorly and failed to hold the ball up when City needed him to do it most. Anonymous in the air. Need much more.
Subs:
Joel Colwill (6) - A quiet cameo. Cardiff were already struggling before he was brought on, and things didn't change after the substitution.
Cian Ashford (6) - Same as Joel Colwill.
David Turnbull (6) - Another who had a quiet cameo. Retained possession well at times.
Ronan Kpakio (6) - Same as the above.
Summary:
I'm not one for making excuses. No side shouldn't win after going 3-0 up. However, that team is absolutely knackered. Summer window gets more frustrating by the day.
