Rubin Colwill and Ryan Wintle celebrating.

The opening forty minutes saw very little goal mouth action, but City controlled things. Ryan Wintle did open the scoring in the forty-first minute with a stunner from the edge of the box that flew into the top corner. Chris Willock soon added a second, the winger cut in from the left and his deflected effort beat Luca Ashby-Hammond.

City made it three soon after half-time. Rubin Colwill carried the ball into the box and his effort deflected to beat Ashby-Hammond again. Ashby-Hammond made two great saves from close range to deny Colwill soon after.

Isaak Davies added a fourth in stoppage time, as the forward cut in from the left and guided an effort into the net to seal all three points for The Bluebirds.
