Cardiff City maintained their unbeaten streak against Bristol City with a draw in the Welsh Capital this afternoon.

The first half offered very little, with both sides having a half-chance. Anwar El Ghazi found room on the edge of the box, and had a powerful effort caught by Max O'Leary. Mark Sykes tried an effort from distance, but Jak Alnwick caught the winger's effort.
The game sprung into life in the second half, as Callum Robinson had two efforts, one came from good work from Will Alves, who found Robinson on the edge of the box and had a powered effort caught, Robinson had another chance not long later but his volley went wide of the goal.
The Robins sprung into life after the chances. Yu Hirakawa's smart effort was matched by an equally smart save by Alnwick. The visitors did eventually take the lead through captain Jason Knight, the midfielder had a free header in the box and made no mistake.
The visitors should've had a second and sealed the game, however Sam Bell headed over from close range.
City would make Bristol City pay, as Aaron Ramsey threaded a ball through to Cian Ashford, who played the ball across the box for Yousef Salech to finish at the back post and earn a point for The Bluebirds.
Player Ratings:
Jak Alnwick (7) - Makes a real key save to deny Hirakawa and keep City in the game. Distribution was frustrating.
Perry Ng (6.5) - A better Perry Ng than we've seen for quite a while, but let himself down a bit by losing Knight for the goal. Got forward well and was solid in his duels.
Dimitrios Goutas (6.5) - Had a mixed game against Armstrong, held him well but became more reserved after picking a yellow. On a whole, held his own well.
Joel Bagan (8) - Makes a game-saving block right at the end. Also held his own well against Armstrong. Decent on the ball.
Callum O'Dowda (7) - Usual energetic self down the left.
Andy Rinomhota (6.5) - Another who showed his typical energy, felt as if he was less effective in the midfield, but nonetheless did his job to a decent level.
Sivert Mannsverk (8) MOTM - A brilliant display. Got in and amongst it. Passing was great, and carried the ball well. Great home debut.
Rubin Colwill (7) - Was trying so hard to make something happen and had/made a couple of decent chances, just felt he overplayed things at times, but deserved something for his endeavour.
Anwar El Ghazi (5) - Just didn't get in the game. Seemed to be trying to be to cute with things at times. Couple of sloppy pieces, as well.
Will Alves (8) - Direct and fearless. An excellent home debut and another who deserved something for his efforts. Grew in confidence throughout and looks the real deal. Held onto the ball well and battled hard.
Callum Robinson (6) - Was fairly good in build-up and looked sharp early on, no real clear-cut chances.
Subs:
Aaron Ramsey (8) - Changed the game for City. Dictated from deep and played a crucial role in the equaliser.
Chris Willock (7) - Was direct when he came on, a shame no one got on the end of his cutback. Worked well with Ramsey.
Yousef Salech (7.5) - One chance, one goal, what more can you ask? A good poacher's finish.
Cian Ashford (7.5) - Inch-perfect ball to Salech for the goal.
Summary:
Partly a shame as Bristol City were there for the taking, but given how the game unfolded you can be happy with a point and the fight late on.
