POSSIBLE TITLE DECIDER AT THE CCS

Cardiff City are back in the Welsh Capital as they host second place Michael Skubala's Lincoln City.

The Opposition:
Lincoln have pushed The Bluebirds all season, and sit firmly in the title race ahead of the last few months of the League One campaign.
Skubala focuses on proactive, possession-based football with an emphasis on building from the back and creating overloads in central areas. His teams are well-structured out of possession, using coordinated pressing and compact spacing to quickly regain control.
The Imps sit second ahead of their visit to the Welsh Capital, and could move into first with a victory against City.
The Bluebirds:
City come into this one on the back of a 4-0 victory away at Doncaster Rovers. Alex Robertson opened the scoring in the first half, before a clinical second half display saw Dylan Lawlor, Cian Ashford and Callum Robinson net for The Bluebirds to secure a comfortable victory.
Barry-Murphy’s side could hurt Lincoln by pressing even higher and faster, disrupting the build-up before possession is settled. With the ball, City must move it quickly and vertically to exploit spaces left by Skubala’s structured shape.
Opposition Player to Watch:

Jack Moylan has shone since the turn of the year for The Imps and has become an essential part of their promotion charge. Moylan is a technically sharp, creative attacking midfielder who thrives between the lines, linking play with quick touches, clever movement, and an eye for progressive passes and goals.
The forward began his career with Bohemians in his home country of Ireland. After a successful loan move to Wexford, Moylan completed a permanent move to Shelbourne. After a successful season and a half at The Shels, Moylan completed a move to League One with Lincoln City. The attacking midfielder has contributed with eight goals and four assists so far this season.
Last Meeting:
Lincoln City 2-1 Cardiff City (2025)

Lincoln City edged out The Bluebirds in a physical encounter in City's last away game of 2025.
The Imps were fortunate for their opener as an Alex Robertson interception beat Matt Turner, before a goal of the season contender from Perry Ng brought things back level for The Bluebirds. A towering header by Sonny Bradley sealed the victory for the home side.
Team News:
Cardiff City - Late decisions to be made on Omari Kellyman and Dylan Lawlor. Yousef Salech, Isaak Davies and Eli King remain out injured for City.
Lincoln City - Late decision to be made on Jack Moylan. Freddie Draper, Josh Honohan, Kamil Conteh, Oscar Thorn and James Collins out for The Imps.
Preferred XI:
GK - Nathan Trott
RB - Perry Ng
RCB - Gabriel Osho
LCB - Dylan Lawlor
LB - Calum Scanlon
CDM - Ryan Wintle
CM - Alex Robertson
CAM - Joel Colwill
RW - Ollie Tanner
LW - Cian Ashford
ST - Rubin Colwill
Score Prediction:
Cardiff City 0-2 Lincoln City
I fear this game means two different things to two sides. This is as big as it gets in recent history for Lincoln, and I’m fearful they will play up to the occasion and seal a big win for themselves at the CCS.
