Cardiff City have made it back-to-back home defeats as they lost 1-0 to Burton Albion this evening.

Cardiff's best chance of the first-half came in the twenty-third minute. Rubin Colwill's free-kick was parried by Brad Collins straight into the path of Joel Bagan who cannoned over from close range.
Cian Ashford had an excellent chance just after the restart, but fired straight at Collins from close range. Yousef Salech and Chris Willock had a couple of efforts, but failed to make anything of either.
Charlie Webster inevitably put the visitors in front, making City rue several excellent chances and earning all three points for The Brewers.
Player Ratings:
Nathan Trott (6.5) - Made an excellent save to keep it level in the first half. Not a great deal can be done about the goal. Distribution was decent.
Perry Ng (7) MOTM - Cleared one off the line and generally did well. Defended fairly well and got forward decently. Just a solid showing, really.
Will Fish (7) - Defensively sound and commanded things this evening, particularly in the air. Varied on the ball, some nice diags but generally too slow.
Dylan Lawlor (6) - Made some nice chances with balls in behind, but generally was far too slow and often killed the momentum City had. Could command the situation better for the goal. Read play well and generally defensively was solid.
Joel Bagan (6.5) - Has to score. Simply has to score. Defensively sound and got in some promising positions offensively. Linked up well with Willock.
Ryan Wintle (6) - Passive for the majority of the game, struggled to pick up on second balls and was just quiet. Had quite a bit of the ball and did little with it.
David Turnbull (6) - Same as Ryan Wintle, really. Out of possession was decent. Another who had a decent chance but was wasteful.
Rubin Colwill (6) - Busy as usual and carried the ball well, just that last bit was the issue. Generally did okay, just needed to step in up in the final third.
Cian Ashford (4.5) - Another who simply has to score. Unmarked on the penalty spot. needs to do more than smash it at the goalkeeper. Looked busy but very little to report, needs to be quicker in decision making.
Chris Willock (6) - Probably Cardiff's only bit of energy in the final third, but again, needs to be quicker at times. Did put some real dangerous balls in the box.
Yousef Salech (4.5) - For weeks fans have bemoaned the service to Yousef Salech, well today he got it and he was very wasteful. Could've and probably should've had a hatrick. Big improvement needed.
Subs:
Omari Kellyman (5.5) - Offered very little and put in some real poor set pieces.
Ronan Kpakio (6.5) - Wanted to get forward and added a bit of intent down the right.
Callum Robinson (6) - Anonymous, really.
Joel Colwill (5.5) - Had a great chance in the box, feel he would've been better suited striking it rather than a header.
Tanatswa Nyakuhwa (N/A)
Summary:
A hugely frustrating one, but one that felt inevitable the longer the game went on. Simply have to learn how to put these sides to the sword.
