Cardiff City have completed the permanent signing of Gabriel Osho from AJ Auxerre.

Osho joined boyhood club Reading at aged ten. The defender signed his first professional deal in 2016 before extending that deal in 2018. Osho soon had his first taste of men's football with loan spells at Maidenhead United and Aldershot Town in the National League.
The defender made his debut for Reading upon his return in December 2018. Osho went onto make a further appearance for The Royals, before joining Bristol Rovers on loan for the remainder of the 18/19 season. However, Osho failed to make an appearance in his six month spell at The Gas.
Osho returned to the Reading Academy, and even went on trial with Ipswich Town in October 2019. In the December, Osho joined Yeovil Town on a one-month loan in which he turned out six times for The Glovers.
Reading handed Osho a chance in the final games of the season, with the defender making five appearances. Osho departed Reading in that summer, turning down a contract offer. Luton Town swooped in, and acquired the defender in the November of 2020.
Osho returned to Yeovil on loan in December on another one-month loan deal. The Nigerian made four appearances before joining Rochdale for the remainder of the season, linking up with Brian Barry-Murphy. The defender was a mainstay in the heart of The Dale defence, turning out twenty-two times, and netting his first senior goal.
After a successful loan spell, Osho broke into the Luton season in the 21/22 season, making twenty-three appearances as The Hatters finished 6th. Osho and Luton did earn promotion the following season, with the defender continuing to impress as well as netting in the Play-Off semi-final.
Despite missing the start of the season with an injury, Osho went onto make twenty-two appearances in the Premier League, as Luton finished in 18th, facing relegation straight back to the Championship. Osho's contract expired that summer, with he Nigerian being linked with the likes of Spurs, Aston Villa, Fulham and many other top sides.
Osho opted for Ligue 1 with recently promoted AJ Auxerre on a one-year deal with the option of an extra two years. The defender become an immediate main-stay in the team, making twenty-one appearance in all competitions in his opening season. Osho's form earned him his first Nigeria appearance in November 2024.
Auxerre opted to trigger the extra two years in Osho's deal at the end of the 24/25 season. Osho started Auxerre's opening day victory over Lorient, the Nigerian international started the next week in a defeat away at Nice, but was sacrificed in the first half, following the sending off of AJA's goalkeeper.
Osho has now completed a permanent move to The Bluebirds on a four-year deal, linking up with Brian Barry-Murphy again.
