Kellyman began his career at hometown club Derby County at aged seven. The forward caught the eye at Derby, earning youth callups for Northern Ireland. After a ten year stint at The Rams, Kellyman was bought by Aston Villa for a reported fee of £600,000 in March 2022.

The forward signed his first professional in the September, after impressing after his move in the Villa Academy. Kellyman was nominated for one PL2 Player of the Month and the forward won Player of the Tournament as Villa won the HKFC International Soccer Sevens Title.

After impressing in his first full season at Villa, Kellyman was named in Villa's USA tour for the Premier League Summer Series. Kellyman featured and registered an assist against Newcastle.

Kellyman's impressive pre-season form earned him his first team debut in August 2023 in the Conference League, the forward registered an assist as Villa ran out 3-0 winners. The forward's impressive start to the season earned him a callup for England's U19 side, as the forward changed allegiances. In the October, Kellyman signed a new long-term deal at Aston Villa. Kellyman made two further Conference League and a singular Carabao Cup appearance, before making his Premier League debut against Manchester City in April 2024.

Chelsea came calling in the summer and signed Kellyman for a reported £19M, on a six-year deal with an option of a seventh year. Kellyman netted two goals in his first five games for the Blues' academy side, before suffering an injury, seeing him miss large portions of the seasons.

After a tough season, Kellyman joins The Bluebirds on a season-long loan from Chelsea.

Certainly an exciting one on paper, about getting Kellyman fit and seeing what he's all about!
