As the season starts drawing to a close, now feels as good as time as any to check in on how Cardiff's current players out on loan are fairing at their respective clubs.

Isaak Davies - KV Kortrijk:

Isaak Davies celebrating against Club Brugge.

Davies has caught the eye in Belgium. The 22 year-old has eight goals to his name so far this season, and has kept Kortrijk with a chance of staying in the top division of Belgium. Davies has shown a great poaching ability, with seven of his eight goals coming inside the box. The boyhood Bluebird has excited fans in Kortrijk and has been adopted the name 'King Of Kortrijk', this showing the love for Davies from De Kerels supporters. The striker's energetic style has caught the eye of top clubs such as Monaco, Freiburg, Genk and Antwerp.

Ryotaro Tsunoda - KV Kortrijk:

Ryotaro Tsunoda in action for KV Kortrijk.

Tsunoda is another that has caught the eye in Belgium. The 24 year-old has been deployed as a left centre back in a back three, a perfect position for Tsunoda who has been able to show off his brilliant passing range. Tsunoda is also contributing defensively, helping his side keep three clean sheets in his nine games. Unfortunately the defender has recently torn his hamstring, which will see him out for Kortrijk's upcoming Relegation Playoff.

Sheyi Ojo - KV Kortrijk:

Sheyi Ojo in action for KV Kortrijk.

The last Bluebird at De Kerels. Ojo has failed to make a huge impact in Belgium, contributing just a goal and an assist in his twenty-five outings. The 26 year-old has been deployed in several positions this season, those being Left Wing, Left Wing Back, Right Wing, Attacking Midfield and Striker. Ojo finds himself out of contract in the summer, and I imagine a departure is likely.

Joel Bagan - SV Zulte Waregem:

Joel Bagan in action for SV Zulte Waregem.

After an encouraging start to the season that saw Waregem spend a lengthy spell at the top of the table, Essevee have fallen down the table, and now lie in sixth. Bagan has been a fairly regular starter, appearing eighteen times this season. In a side that fail to dominate possession, Bagan has been unable to show his strong ability on the ball, and rather has had to contribute more defensively, something he has managed to do. With four games left, Bagan and Waregem sit seven points off top, with it looking likely they will have to settle for the Play-Offs.

Thomas Davies - Kilmarnock:

Thomas Davies in action for Kilmarnock.

Davies had made six appearances since joining Killie. The 21 year-old has been a regular in the Matchday squad but has failed to cement a place in the first team. However, no doubt a good experience for Davies who is getting his first exposure to men's football. When Davies has featured he's impressed Kilmarnock supporters.

Andy Rinomhota - Rotherham United:

Andy Rinomhota in action for Rotherham United.

Rinomhota has become a regular starter at The Millers and is getting much needed minutes. Rotherham are on the verge of being relegated to League One, however on a personal note it's been a fairly successful spell for Rino. The 26 year-old's personal form has seen him recalled to the Zimbabwe international setup.

Ebou Adams - Derby County:

Ebou Adams in action for Derby County.

Ebou has hit the ground running at The Rams. Derby have won seven of the elven games Adams has featured in. The Gambian international has registered one assist. Adams has been deployed as a midfielder, defensive midfielder and centre-back in his spell at Derby. The Rams' boss Paul Warne has admitted Adams returning on a permanent basis is 'unlikely' at this stage.

Eli King - Ross County:

Eli King in action for Ross County.

After a good spell at Morecambe, King went to Ross County with high expectations. King has faired fairly well in his time in Scotland. Ross County sit second bottom with three games left. King has made eight appearances and has shown his quality on the ball with his impressive passing range. The 21 year-old has spent the last few games on the side line with an injury.

Xavier Benjamin - Dunfermline Athletic:

Xavier Benjamin in action for Dunfermline Athletic.

Benjamin has struggled at Dunfermline. In his four appearances Benjamin has been on the end of two thrashings and has been replaced at half-time as well. In Benjamin's most recent outing he scored in a 3-1 win. The 20 year-old hasn't featured since as his side continue to push for promotion from the Scottish Championship.

Malachi Fagan-Walcott - Dunfermline Athletic:

Malachi Fagan-Walcott celebrating for Dunfermline Athletic.

Fagan-Walcott has impressed since joining Dunfermline, The 22 year-old has netted two goals in his ten appearances. The defender has played every minute available since joining Dunfermline. Fagan-Walcott has been deployed as the central defender in a back three. The ex-Tottenham defender has become an important player in his brief time at the club.

James Crole - Queen's Park:

After making a one minute substitute appearance against Inverness, Crole hasn't been seen since. The 20 year-old has been absent from Matchday squads since his debut on the Third of February.

Ollie Denham - Sligo Rovers:

Ollie Denham in action for Sligo Rovers.

Denham has settled well in Ireland. Sligo sit third after six games with Denham becoming an important player defensively. The 21 year-old has helped his side keep three clean sheets so far this season. Denham has also featured twice in the Premier Division Team of The Week.

Kieron Evans - Gateshead:

Kieron Evans celebrating for Gateshead.

Evans has shown his quality in the National League, registering two goals and two assists so far. The 22 year-old has been utilised centrally for The Tynesiders. With seven games left, Evans and Gateshead sit sixth in the table and look set for the National League Playoffs.

Chanka Zimba - Maidenhead United:

Chanka Zimba celebrating for Maidenhead United.

After an encouraging start to the season, Zimba has spent the majority of the second half of the season on the bench. Zimba has four goals to his name in eleven starts. With six games left Maidenhead sit 20th and one point above the relegation places.

Ryan Kavanagh - Truro City:

Ryan Kavanagh in training with Cardiff City.

Since joining in January, Kavanagh has made eight appearance for Truro in the National League South. Truro sit 20th as they continue to their scrap for survival, Truro do have five games in hand on the teams in the relegation zone, so things are still in their hands. Kavanagh has been deployed as both a midfielder and a fullback.

Jacob Dennis - Gloucester City:

Jacob Dennis warming up.

Dennis has made four appearances since joining Gloucester. The eighteen year-old has featured in the National League North Team of The Week once. Gloucester look bound to be relegated, as they sit 23rd and eleven points away from safety with six games left.
