GRADING CARDIFF CITY'S SUMMER SIGNINGS

With the January Transfer Window fast approaching, I think now is a fair time to look back on the business done in the summer and grade how well the summer recruits have done.
The Summer Transfer Window:
Cardiff were quiet for the majority of the summer regarding incomings, before a late surge of incomings in the month of August. Most of City's business was moving players on with fourteen departures.
Nathan Trott - A*

Nathan Trott has been the signing of the summer and plays a huge role in Cardiff City sitting top of the table at the moment. Trott leads the way for Clean Sheets and Save Percentage in League One, with the goalkeeper having prevented 3.99 goals so far this season. The Bermudan has been close to flawless in his opening four months as a Bluebird, with the 27 year-old coming up trumps in vital moments on several occasions this season.
Gabriel Osho - D

Osho has struggled to live up to high expectations so far since his summer move. The defender's early performances were littered with mistakes, two of which led to goals against The Bluebirds. The 27 year-old has come on late on in games in more recent times and done fairly well. Osho has since broken his toe, meaning the defender will be out of action for the next few weeks. Hopefully the Nigerian will kick on upon return.
Omari Kellyman - B

After a difficult injury-hit season, Kellyman has been fairly impressive as he continues to gain sharpness. The 20 year-old possesses impressive footwork and has shown glimpses of his class so far. Kellyman is also key for Cardiff out of possession, whether that's centrally or out wide. The main target for Kellyman for the second half of the season I'm sure will be to improve his goal and assist output, but so far, so good for Kellyman.
Summary:
Upon reflection it was an impressive summer of additions, and still plenty to be excited by for the remaining months of the season.
Given Brian Barry-Murphy's successful first window, it leads me to be excited by what the City boss could recruit to try and get Cardiff over the line to promotion in January.
