Cardiff City's draw with West Brom this afternoon confirms their place in League One next season.

Cardiff started with intent, and their first real chance came just shy of the ten minute mark. David Turnbull's powerful delivery was met by an equally powerful Calum Chambers header, but the defender's effort was cleared on the line.
Isaac Price then had two golden opportunities for The Baggies. Price drove and let fire from the edge of the box but was denied by Ethan Horvath, the Northern Irish struck the woodwork not long after.
It was chaos in the box on the hour mark as Alex Robertson had two efforts saved from close range saved by Josh Griffiths, before the ball fell to Yousef Salech who struck the post with the ball rebounding to Chambers, with his effort being claimed by Griffiths.
Horvath kept City in it with fifteen minutes left on the clock. Adam Armstrong broke away and was denied by Horvath from close range, Callum Styles' effort was also saved by the American.
The Bluebirds pushed late on, but it wasn't to be. This result confirms City's place in League One next season.
Player Ratings:
Ethan Horvath (8) MOTM - Made quite a few crucial saves, and some from the top draw. One shaky moment but on a whole a good and no-nonsense performance.
Perry Ng (7) - Had a solid half, read the game well and got in some dangerous offensive areas.
Will Fish (7) - Typical no-nonsense performance. Strong defensively and decent on the ball.
Calum Chambers (7.5) - City's biggest goal threat in fairness. Did his defensive duties well and so unfortunate not to get something up the other end.
Callum O'Dowda (7) - Got forward well in his usual fashion, also defended pretty well. Devastating to see him at full-time.
Andy Rinomhota (6.5) - Usual energetic performance, just one or two frustrating pieces on the ball. Did truly try his all.
David Turnbull (8) - Set piece delivery was a massive game changer. Dictated the game and broke the lines really well. Strong defensively as well.
Cian Ashford (7) - Grew into the game. Some nice footwork on the ball. Final delivery just needed more.
Alex Robertson (6) - Struggled to really get into the game. One or two half chances and tidy on the ball, but fairly quiet throughout.
Chris Willock (6) - Same as Robertson.
Yousef Salech (6.5) - Unfortunate but had to bury one of his chances. Solid outside of that and posed his typical threats.
Subs:
Jesper Daland (5) - Had a handful of shaky moments and was negative on the ball. Some nice pieces here and there.
Joe Ralls (6) - Came close to the spectacular but a fairly quiet cameo.
Will Alves (5.5) - A tidy but ineffective cameo.
Rubin Colwill (6) - Busy cameo and made a chance.
Ollie Tanner (6) - Energetic cameo and came close to a goal.
Summary:
It's a sad day but it's one that's been chasing us for a long time now. All eyes turn to next season now. I'll be there.
