We have officially entered the last week of the January Transfer Window; as Cardiff have been linked with another two names this week.
Ethan Horvath:
Cardiff are reportedly closing in on the signing of 'keeper Ethan Horvath. Hull had also previously shown interest in the American international. Horvath spent last season at Luton where he got promoted as well as keeping nineteen clean sheets. Horvath has impressive reflexes and a good passing range for a goalkeeper. This move would likely result in the departure of Alex Runarsson.
Nathaniel Phillips:
Cardiff and Blackburn are thought to be showing serious interest in Liverpool defender Nat Phillips, with some claiming the latter are close to confirming his signature. The 26 year-old is strong in the air and comfortable on the ball. Phillips is already proven at Championship level, and would be an impressive signing if Cardiff could pip Blackburn to his signature.
Conclusion:
Another slow week which Cardiff couldn't afford. Now leaves The Bluebirds with loads of work to do before Thursday's Deadline.
Pressure is now on.
