The Bluebirds are looking to make it four Championship wins in a row as Rotherham United come to the CCS.

The Opposition:
Matt Taylor saw key men Ben Wiles and Chiedozie Ogbene depart in the summer. Rotherham made nine new signings as they brought in Grant Hall from Middlesbrough, Dillon Phillips from Cardiff City, Cafu from Nottingham Forest, Dexter Lembikisa from Wolves, Fred Onyedinma from Luton, Christ Tiehi from Slovan Liberec, Arvin Appiah from Almeria, Sam Nombe from Exeter and Sebastian Revan from Aston Villa.
Taylor has used both the 4-3-3 and 3-5-2 this season, with the latter being favoured in away games so far this season. Rotherham often concedes possession and line up with a counter-attacking system, with the focus being getting the ball down the flanks. Former Bluebird Jordan Hugill is a vocal point in attack for The Millers as his old up play allows his side to get up the pitch.
Rotherham sit 23rd after 8 games this season, as they've only the won once this season.
The Bluebirds:
Cardiff had a game to forget against Blackburn as they lost 5-2 and were outplayed by Rovers for the majority of the game. However, focus returns onto the league as they face Rotherham who haven't won in the Welsh capital since 1998.
The Bluebirds will control the game as they'll enjoy a large amount of possession. Rotherham were decent defensively last time out, so it won't be as easy as some fans make out, but you'd like to think that The Bluebirds could eventually break down The Millers.
Cardiff City sit 7th in the table after picking up three wins in a row in the Championship.
Team News:
Cardiff City - The Bluebirds will be without Aaron Ramsey as he's been ruled out for the next three weeks. Josh Bowler is a week away from returning. O'Dowda remains out.
Rotherham United - Millers boss Matt Taylor is suspended for this fixture. Millers defender Cameron Humphreys joins fellow defenders Sean Morrison and Lee Peltier on the sidelines after picking up an injury last time out. Jamie Lindsay and Shane Ferguson also out. Cafu and Grant Hall will face late fitness tests.
Predicted XI:
GK - Jak Alnwick
LB - Jamilu Collins
LCB - Mark McGuinness
RCB - Dimitrios Goutas
RB - Perry Ng
RDM - Manolis Siopis
LDM - Joe Ralls
CAM - Rubin Colwill
RW - Yakou Meite
LW - Karlan Grant
ST - Kion Etete
Prediction:
Cardiff City 2-0 Rotherham United
I think it will be a slow first half for The Bluebirds but I could see them turning on the style and cruising in the second half.
