Cardiff City remain in the Welsh Capital as they host managerless West Brom.

Perry Ng pre-match.

The Opposition:

West Brom have had a steady season as they've pushed for a play-off spot throughout. However, Carlos Corberan departed and was replaced by Tony Mowbray, who failed to reach the expected heights and was dismissed on Monday, as The Baggies have an outside shout of a playoff finish with two games left.

James Morrison will take the helm tomorrow afternoon. Given his experience as a player, Morrison likely emphasizes the importance of passing, tactical discipline, and potentially a more proactive approach to attacking.

The Baggies sit tenth ahead of this one, and could move into seventh with a win.

The Bluebirds:

City come into this one on the back of a draw against Oxford United. Yousef Salech's second half goal was cancelled out by a Cameron Brannagan screamer late on.

Cardiff will need to build on the fundamentals of Monday. Energetic and front-footed football, and hurt a West Brom side following their recent struggles.

Team News:

Cardiff City - Anwar El Ghazi, Callum Robinson, Jak Alnwick, Aaron Ramsey and Joe Ralls remain out injured.

West Brom - Callum Styles back available. Josh Maja and Kyle Bartley out for the visitors.

Preferred XI:

GK - Ethan Horvath

RB - Perry Ng

RCB - Will Fish

LCB - Calum Chambers

LB - Callum O'Dowda

RDM - Sivert Mannsverk

LDM - Alex Robertson

CAM - Rubin Colwill

RW - Will Alves

LW - Chris Willock

ST - Yousef Salech

Prediction:

Cardiff City 1-1 West Brom

I see this game being the end of the road. City will dominate but it just won't be enough.
