Cardiff City drew with Oxford United this afternoon.

Aaron Ramsey applauding supporters.

Chris Willock came closest in the first half. A lovely turn from Alex Robertson into the box before finding Willock, who fired over from close range.

Yousef Salech broke the deadlock eleven minutes into the second half. Willock found the forward with an excellent cross before the Salech headed past Jamie Cumming.

Oxford equalised with ten minutes remaining. Cameron Brannagan's long range effort flew past Ethan Horvath.

City draw again and could face relegation on Saturday.

Player Ratings:

Ethan Horvath (6) - Nothing Horvath can do about the goal. Calm and composed with the ball at his feet.

Perry Ng (7) - Up to his usual shenanigans. Defended well with some strong challenges. Prone of taking one touch too many at times, but got in some good areas offensively.

Will Fish (7) - Just a solid routine performance from Fish. Cut out some dangerous moves and did well enough on the ball.

Calum Chambers (7) - Same story as Fish, really. Drove forward really well.

Callum O'Dowda (6.5) - Caused all kind of problems in the first half. Quieter second half.

Andy Rinomhota (7) - Had a real effect on the game early on, disrupting and distributing well. Faded out a bit as the game went on.

Sivert Mannsverk (6.5) - Carried the ball and progressed the side quite well. Just lacked the ideas to hurt Oxford. Got stuck in as usual.

Cian Ashford (5) - Had the game deciding moment and made the wrong decision, simply had to pass to Alex Robertson. Direct but lacked conviction.

Alex Robertson (6.5) - Started strong as well, making a great chance for Willock. Got in some great areas and wasn't fed. Definitely gave it his all.

Chris Willock (8) MOTM - An excellent cross to find Salech. A consistent threat out wide and centrally, carried and held onto the ball so well. Did his defensive duties well. Best performance in a City shirt.

Yousef Salech (7.5) - A great header and unlucky not to have another. Link up play was good and strong in the air as usual.

Subs:

Yakou Meite (6.5) - Drove at Oxford and put a dangerous ball or two into the box.

Will Alves (5.5) - Struggled to make any real impact. Struggled physically.

Rubin Colwill (6) - A tidy cameo.

David Turnbull (6.5) - Looked to make things happen and made a chance or two.

Ollie Tanner (6) - A half chance or two.

Summary:

That does really feel like it's it. The players tried and yet that's still not enough.
