Cardiff City and Sheffield United played out a 2-2 draw this afternoon.

Jack Moylan celebrating.
Jack Moylan celebrating.

Player Ratings:

Nathan Trott (6) - Couldn't do much about either goal. Did make a key stop or two. Distribution was decent.

Perry Ng (7) - Sloppy play led to the penalty. Grew into the game after that, showing promising signs in and out of possession. Worked well with Tanner.

Krystian Bielik (8) - In terms of debut goals, as solid as you would like to see. Dominant in the air and used his body excellently, with some strong challenges. Kept City ticking with a strong showing in possession. Promising start!

Gabriel Osho (8) - Best Osho has played for some time. Strong in his defensive actions, particularly in the air. Impressive and progressive on the ball. Long may it continue.

Joel Bagan (8) - Trademark Bagan again. Back in his more natural position and just as impressive. Came close to a stunner cutting on his right. Worked well with Moylan. Defensively flawless.

Alex Robertson (6) - A disastrous first ten minutes saw him concede a penalty, then give the ball away cheaply for their second goal. After that, was really good. Moved the ball well and did quite well defensively altogether. Shame a poor start puts a damper on his performance.

Rubin Colwill (7.5) - Another strong Rubin performance. Progressed and carried the ball really well. Out of possession, clumsy at times, but on the whole did fairly well.

Cian Ashford (9) MOTM - Excellent again. Carries the ball well before assisting Moylan, then in the right place at the right time for his goal. Retained possession brilliantly. Relentless out of possession.

Ollie Tanner (7) - Getting there, for sure. Plays his part in the second goal. Put in some really dangerous crosses that no one got on the end of. Did his job out of possession.

Jack Moylan (8) - Very well-taken goal, and was a constant threat. Came close to getting a couple more as well. Direct and effective off the left. Did decently out of possession.

Yousef Salech (5) - One to forget for Salech. Missed a glorious game-winning chance. Did well in the air against McGuinness, but was largely kept quiet.

Subs:

Chris Willock (7) - Made a positive impact. Nice bit of bite in his performance. Some dangerous deliveries.

Joel Colwill (N/A)

Isaak Davies (N/A)

Callum Robinson (N/A)

Calum Scanlon (N/A)

Summary:

Another positive point against a good outfit. This side is so close to clicking. A few more in before Wednesday's game, and we'll look in good shape!
