Cardiff City remain in the Welsh Capital as they host Luke Williams' Swansea City in the South Wales Derby.
The Opposition:
Swansea sit bang in the middle of the table ahead of this one, and have had a mixed bag so far this season. The Swans have struggled for consistency in the first half of the season, something they'll look to fix in the second half of the season as they continue their hunt for a play-off finish.
Williams likes his centre backs to start the attacks, playing out from the back in the ‘proper’ way. A pattern with Williams' sides is that the ball tends to remain on the ground, with heavy reliance on building play. He likes his wing backs to start high up the pitch and press. Taking advantage of the high starting position, Swansea are able to transition into attack quickly. Williams' sides love pressing through the lines.
A win in this one could see Swansea move up to 11th, and equal on points with 9th.
The Bluebirds:
City come into this one on the back of a frustrating home draw against Watford. Cian Ashford's striker on the hour mark was cancelled out by a late Vakun Bayo equaliser for The Hornets.
The Bluebirds are going to have to get at Swansea, not allowing players like Matt Grimes time and space in the midfield, as that is where Cardiff always lose this fixture. Cardiff will have to be smart in their build up and utilise pace in behind.
