Cardiff City have fallen to back-to-back defeats following a 3-1 defeat against Blackburn this afternoon.

Rovers took an early lead through Andreas Weimann. Some good work in the build-up play led to a back post tap-in from the Austrian.
City had some half chances in the remainder of the half, with Anwar El Ghazi and Rubin Colwill, but neither could beat Ainsley Pears in the Rovers net.
Weimann doubled his and Rovers' tally early in the second half. Similar to Blackburn's first, some good lead up play led to a tap-in for the striker.
David Turnbull halved the deficit with twenty minutes remaining. After missing his original penalty, the Scottish midfielder made no mistake with the rebound.
Lewis Baker would add a third late on for Rovers, to seal all three points for the visitors.
Player Ratings:
Jak Alnwick (6) - Made some routine saves. Not sure there’s a great deal he can do for the three goals. Distribution was alright.
Perry Ng (5.5) - Caught in no man’s land on a few occasions. Hedges just had the beating of Ng. Was okay going forward.
Dimitrios Goutas (6) - All-round was fairly solid. Won his fair deal on the floor and in the air.
Jesper Daland (5.5) - Yuki Ohashi just had the beating of Daland who looked off it this afternoon. Passing was decent.
Callum O’Dowda (7) MOTM - Looked to get forward, and got in some good areas, obviously winning a penalty.
Alex Robertson (6.5) - Fought hard in and out of possession. Dictated things for City. Set piece delivery was poor.
David Turnbull (6.5) - Nice to finally see Turnbull off the mark. Also controlled things, and all-round had a decent game.
Ollie Tanner (6) - Looked to make things happen with an energetic performance. Not a great deal came off, unfortunately.
Rubin Colwill (6.5) - Worked hard, especially in the final third. A fair few chances amounted from it. Probably unlucky not to score.
Anwar El Ghazi (5.5) - Had a fair few chances that he needed to make better use of. Fairly quiet afternoon.
Chris Willock (6.5) - Thought Willock did okay when he was moved out wide. A couple of dangerous pieces, some crosses that would’ve been perfect if City had a striker this afternoon.
Subs:
Yakou Meite (6) - Worked hard again, but was forced to work off scraps.
Summary:
Rovers were simply the better team, and City didn't have an answer to it. Really struggled to create anything against a side that had done their homework.
