The Bluebirds are back on the road as they face Stoke City in the FA Cup.

Stoke have had a hectic season date as they're currently on their third manager. The Potters begun the season with Steven Schumacher, who was replaced by Narcis Pelach after a mixed start. The Spaniard had a torrid spell at Stoke, and was replaced recently by Mark Robins.
Mark Robins has based his style of play during his career on getting the best out of his players as opposed to an overarching tactical philosophy. Robins' sides excel at winning the ball back from their opponents, as well as creating scoring chances and attacking along the wings. His sides like to attempt likes his team to play through balls often and take plenty of shots which comes as no surprise given the energetic fashion in which Robins.
The Potters sit 18th in the Championship, and are seeking to make it to the Fifth Round for the first time since 22/23.
The Bluebirds:
City come into this one on the back of a torrid 7-0 defeat against Leeds United. The Bluebirds crumbled in the second half and ended up getting a heavy defeat at Elland Road.
In terms of possession, I expect City to have a fair amount, it would be nice to see them try and control the game, similar to Omer Riza’s first few games.
Team News:
Cardiff City - Omer Riza suspended. Aaron Ramsey and Roko Simic available. Isaak Davies, David Turnbull, Ollie Tanner, Yakou Meite and Ronan Kpakio out injured. Raheem Conte cup-tied.
Stoke City - Million Manhoef, Ben Wilmot, Ryan Mmaee, Eric Bocat, Jordan Thompson and Sam Gallagher injured. Ali Al-Hamadi and Nathan Lowe cup-tied.
Preferred XI:
GK - Ethan Horvath
RB - Perry Ng
RCB - Will Fish
LCB - Dylan Lawlor
LB - Joel Bagan
RDM - Sivert Mannsverk
LDM - Alex Robertson
CAM - Rubin Colwill
RW - Will Alves
LW - Chris Willock
ST - Yousef Salech
Prediction:
Stoke City 1-3 Cardiff City
I expect a strong response from City, and this is a great chance to respond strongly.
