CITY KNOCKED OFF THE TOP

Cardiff City were beaten 2-0 this afternoon by new league leaders Lincoln City.

Player Ratings:

Nathan Trott (4.5) - Doesn't get near either goal. Flapped at some crosses, also. Distribution was poor.

Ronan Kpakio (5) - Had a good opening half, some nice feet on show and spread play well. Overwhelmed defensively in the second half. Could do more to prevent the first.

Will Fish (5.5) - Stood up to the aerial task of Lincoln. Some decent bits on the ball, also. Could do more to prevent the second.

Gabriel Osho (6.5) MOTM - Excellent in the first half. Made some key interventions and was strong in the air. Carried the ball well, also. Caught on the wrong side for the first before being subbed.

Joel Bagan (5) - Slow and passive. Poor crosses on the overlap, also. Defensively didn't offer a great deal, either.

Ryan Wintle (5.5) - Kept City ticking and spread play well, guilty of being slow at times. Anonymous out of possession.

Alex Robertson (6) - Tidy in possession and spread play well. Put up a fight out of possession, also. Quieter afternoon.

Joel Colwill (6.5) - Carried the ball forward well and was his usual energetic self, putting his body on the line. Decent out of possession.

Omari Kellyman (5) - Not involved a great deal and showed little quality when he was. Found himself in a lot of space throughout, and made little of it.

Ollie Tanner (4.5) - Not a left-winger. Loses the ball for both goals. Frustrated in attack, also. Did come close with an effort from distance.

Rubin Colwill (5) - Sloppy at times and appeared to run out of ideas. Some nice flicks here and there, but left a lot to desired. Left City with little presence up front.

Subs:

Callum Robinson (5.5) - Quiet cameo.

Chris Willock (5.5) - Same as Robinson.

Dylan Lawlor (6.5) - Strong cameo in and out of possession.

Cian Ashford (6) - Looked lively and tried to make things happen, just nothing came off.
