Cardiff City have returned to winning ways with a 1-0 win over Exeter City.

Player Ratings:
Matt Turner (7) - Quiet afternoon but stood up when called upon. One decent save. Distribution was good, also.
Perry Ng (7.5) - Another trademark Ng showing. Tidy and smart with the ball at his feet and did well defensively. Started to flag a bit before being replaced.
Dylan Lawlor (8) - An excellent assist, and Lawlor’s passing was really impressive this afternoon. Defensively made some key interventions, also.
Calum Chambers (8) - Outstanding defensively again. Carried the ball well out of defence, also.
Joel Bagan (7.5) - Another who do well all-round. Defensively stood his ground and got forward well.
Ryan Wintle (7) - Cut play up well and tidy in possession. Just an all-round decent showing.
Alex Robertson (8.5) MOTM - The best player on the pitch and got a deserved goal, which he took well. Almost set up what would’ve been a fine assist. All-round play was quality. Good out of possession, also.
Omari Kellyman (7) - Spread play really well and carried the ball well as usual. Opposition struggled to deal with his fast and impressive feet.
Cian Ashford (7) - Carries the ball well and posed a threat throughout. Came close to scoring a fine goal, also. Worked well with Ng.
Isaak Davies (6.5) - Looked lovely during the early stages, quick and direct, but struggled to build on it, and ended up having a quiet afternoon.
Yousef Salech (7) - Hold up and link up play was really good, boasting some fine feet and strength. A handful of half-chances went begging.
Subs:
Chris Willock (7.5) - Made a real impact down the left for City. Impressive footwork and looked tricky and direct.

Summary:
Not pretty and Cardiff are a far better side than what was on show this afternoon, but an important three points nonetheless.
