BLUEBIRDS THRASH WIMBLEDON

Cardiff City ran out 4-1 winners against a battling AFC Wimbledon this evening.

Player Ratings:

Nathan Trott (6.5) - Not much can be done about the goal. Made some fairly routine saves. Distribution quite varied.

Perry Ng (8) - Another goal and assist. A great header and sets up Tanner well. Worked well with Tanner throughout. Defensively sound.

Will Fish (8) - Defensively really good. Some important blocks and dominant in the air. Smart and impressive on the ball.

Calum Chambers (7) - Stevens leaves Chambers for dead for the goal. Long balls just didn't come off this evening. Otherwise did well. General play was decent and usual strong defensive showing.

Joel Bagan (7.5) - Trademark Bagan, really. Defended well and put in some dangerous balls in the final third. Linked well with Willock.

Ryan Wintle (7.5) - Good return to the side, picking up where he left off, really. Out of possession, aggressive. In possession did well, also.

Alex Robertson (8) - Showed real quality throughout. Retained possession excellently and real good out of possession. A deserved assist for his efforts.

Joel Colwill (8.5) MOTM - Just getting better and better. Another excellent finish for the goal. Just an engine in midfield, driving up the pitch so well. Excellent out of possession, again.

Ollie Tanner (8.5) - Finally off the mark with an excellent finish. A great delivery for Ng's goal, also. Had a lot of success down the right, with a brilliant burst of pace. Did well out of possession, also.

Chris Willock (6) - Struggled to get into the game. Missed a fairly big chance and movement off the ball was lacklustre throughout.

Omari Kellyman (8.5) - A well-taken and deserved goal. Link-up play was impressive, and worked hard out of possession, again. Gave it a good go against a physical Wimbledon defence.

Subs:

David Turnbull (7) - Typical Turnbull cameo, calm and assured.

Cian Ashford (6) - Struggled to get into the game. Tidy in possession.

Rubin Colwill (6.5) - Similar to Luton, some exciting glimpses. An excellent assist chalked off.

Callum Robinson (7.5) - Made a real positive impact. Excellent assist for Kellyman's goal. Impressive on the ball.
