The Bluebirds ended their poor run against Swansea City with a dominant 2-0 win at the Cardiff City Stadium.

There weren't many big chances in the first half until late on, when the ball fell to Yakou Meite in the box, but a decent stop from Carl Rushworth meant the sides went in all square at half time.
More of the same in the second half as The Bluebirds continued to control possession. On 70 minutes Ollie Tanner made his way onto the pitch, and in the 71st minute he scored his first senior goal to give The Bluebirds the lead.
Tanner found himself with space on the right and attacked the Swansea penalty area before being fouled by Pedersen which resulted in a Cardiff penalty, and none other than Aaron Ramsey stepped up to confirm all three points for The Bluebirds.
Player Ratings:
Jak Alnwick (7) - A good return for Alnwick in the net. Some important saves late on and was really good with the ball at his feet. That spot is his to lose.
Perry Ng (8) - All the room in the world in the first half and got up and down well, dealt with Patino and Lowe down his side. Defensively the best I've seen him in a while.
Dimitrios Goutas (9) - Powerhouse. The best performance I've seen from Goutas, whatever came at him went straight back out. Lowe, Yates, Ginnelly and Paterson had no chance against Goutas.
Mark McGuinness (8.5) - Made Yates' life hell. Was comfortable on the ball which had been my only concern with him recently. Him and Goutas becoming a very strong partnership at the back.
Jamilu Collins (9) - What a performance from The Commander. Every time you thought he'd been beaten his leg would pop out of nowhere to win the ball back. Top draw ball to Tanner for his goal. Back to his best.
Ryan Wintle (7) - Didn't do anything wrong, but didn't do anything worth raving about. Unlucky not to score. Didn't start the best but grew into it.
Manolis Siopis (9) MOTM - Has to be up there for signing of the season? The ground Siopis covers is breathtaking. Reads the game brilliantly and stopped countless Swansea counterattacks. Just keeps improving every game and becoming unstoppable.
Aaron Ramsey (9) - Was written in the stars. Unplayable yesterday and Grimes couldn't get near him. Not half bad for someone who's supposedly 'passed it'.
Yakou Meite (8) - Deserved a goal yesterday. Tymon didn't get near him, can see he's getting better with more minutes as his decision-making was much better last night. Looks like a real danger on the wing.
Karlan Grant (8) - Was a constant danger down the left. Darling couldn't get near him when he turned the burners on. Some nice link-up play with Ramsey and Collins. Some nice crosses as well.
Ike Ugbo (8.5) - Thought his link-up play was excellent. Didn't give up on a ball and looked a real danger all night. More involved in the first half than the second half, but, kept running until the second he came off.
Subs:
Ollie Tanner (9) - Starboy. Definition of a super sub. The first touch for his goal is a joke and his directness ended up winning The Bluebirds the game. Top finish from a top player.
Kion Etete (N/A) - Wasn't involved when he came on.
Callum Robinson (N/A) - Same as Etete. Great to see him back.
Summary
What an evening at a bouncing CCS! A team that is fighting and pushing is all we wanted and it looks like that's what we've got; full credit to Erol Bulut who just got it right.
The Bluebirds now host Coventry on Tuesday.
