BLUEBIRDS LOOK TO BUILD ON WIN LAST TIME OUT

Cardiff City return to the CCS as they host Liam Rosenior's Hull in the Welsh Capital.

Manolis Siopis in action for Cardiff City.

The Opposition:

Hull are a team that have come in and out form this season. After major investment in January, The Tigers are well in the play-off mix ahead of the last month of the season. Hull saw their investment paying off as their new signings began to settle in, as they lost just one in ten fixtures. However, Rosenior's men now find themselves winless in six having lost their last two fixtures.

Since his arrival at The Tigers, Rosenior has implemented a possession focused play style, with emphasis on building out from the back. Hull have seen a considerable improvement defensively since Rosenior's arrival. With Hull's pace in attack they seek to get in behind defences quick by overloading the forward areas.

Hull come into this one 10th in the Championship. A win in the Welsh Capital could see them move to 7th and just three points off the Play-Off places.

The Bluebirds:

Cardiff come into this off the back of an important win against Coventry. Not just a morale boosting win but one where The Bluebirds played some nice stuff and came away deserved winners at the CBS Arena.

The Bluebirds will have to stay compact and as a unit to prevent The Tigers breaking them down. This will mean Cardiff will be forced to do their work on the counter attack, and hurt The Tigers down the flanks with pace, something they showed promise doing against Coventry.

Cardiff sit 11th ahead of this fixture. A win would likely see The Bluebirds move to 9th and close the gap to five points between them and the Play-Offs.

Team News:

Cardiff City - Callum O'Dowda, Jak Alnwick and Rubin Colwill have all been ruled out ahead of this one. Kion Etete and Mark McGuinness also remain out.

Hull City - Jacob Greaves is back available for the hosts. Late decisions are to be made on Lewie Coyle and Ryan Giles. Liam Delap out.

Preferred XI:

GK - Ethan Horvath

RB - Perry Ng

RCB - Nat Phillips

LCB - Dimitrios Goutas

LB - Jamilu Collins

RDM - Manolis Siopis

LDM - Joe Ralls

CAM - David Turnbull

RW - Josh Bowler

LW - Karlan Grant

ST - Callum Robinson

Score Prediction:

Cardiff City 1-2 Hull City

Hull winless in six coming to the CCS, we've seen it all before. I think Hull's individual quality could shine through and see them win the game late on.
