Cardiff City will hope to bounce back from a late defeat to Leicester City with a win against rock-bottom Sheffield Wednesday.

The Opposition:
Sheffield Wednesday have had a nightmare start to the Championship with three losses on the bounce. The Owls surprisingly sacked Darren Moore this summer and replaced him with former Watford boss Xisco Munoz. Munoz has recruited primarily in Europe bringing in Juan Delgado from Pacos de Ferreira, Pol Valentin from Sporting Gijon, Anthony Musaba from Monaco, Devis Vasquez from AC Milan, Mohamed Diaby from Portimonense, and Djeidi Gassama from PSG. He's also recruited closer to home with the additions of Di'Shon Bernard from Manchester United, Ashley Fletcher from Watford, Reece James from Blackpool, and Bambo Diaby from Preston.
Xisco Munoz typically lines up with a 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-2. Munoz doesn't usually have one set style, he tends to adjust based on the team he's against. So far this season, Wednesday have conceded possession and try to hit sides on the break similar to QPR's style against The Bluebirds.
The Owls have been heavily linked to winger Miguel Baeza but a move isn't expected before this weekend's game.
The Bluebirds:
Cardiff come into the weekend with a point to prove. Despite showing glimpses of being a solid side, The Bluebirds only have one point to show for it so far.
We could see a similar style to the one against QPR with The Bluebirds controlling the game and enjoying large percentages of possession. Cardiff ultimately struggled to break down QPR's low block and The Owls will hope to frustrate Bulut's men by playing a similar way to The R's.
Cardiff are keen to add a centre half before the end of the window, but it's highly unlikely anything will go through before this weekend's game.
Team News:
Cardiff City - Perry Ng is available after missing out against Leicester through illness. Josh Bowler is out with a calf and tendon problem. Mahlon Romeo is suspended after picking up a red card last time out.
Sheffield Wednesday - Mohamed Diaby picked up an injury last time out for The Owls, therefore he will miss out. Mallik Wilks and Ciaran Brennan both expected to miss out for the visitors.
Prediction:
This game could pan out very similar to the QPR game, or everything could click and we cruise past The Owls; it's hard to predict. Wednesday are a tall side meaning that Yakou Meite could be vital for The Bluebirds in the forward areas. With Callum Paterson being deployed at right-back, the winger down the left-hand side could have a field day depending on which Paterson turns up on the day. The Bluebirds main issue so far this season has been defensively and with the likes of Windass and Bannan, The Owls are more than capable of getting a goal or two.
Predicted XI:
GK - Jak Alnwick
LB - Jamilu Collins
LCB - Mark McGuinness
RCB - Dimitrios Goutas
RB - Perry Ng
RDM - Manolis Siopis
LDM - Joe Ralls Captain
CAM - Aaron Ramsey
LW - Karlan Grant
RW - Callum Robinson
ST - Yakou Meite
Score Prediction:
Cardiff City 1-0 Sheffield Wednesday
I could see this game going right to the death and The Bluebirds nicking the game late on (similar to Reading at home under Lamouchi). The feeling in the fan base is one win could be the start of a long run of good performance. I could see a goal from one of the wingers being the difference between the two sides.
