Cardiff City have thrashed Huddersfield 4-0 at the John Smith's Stadium.

A quick start from The Bluebirds saw a Callum Robinson flick find the back of the net after a big deflection off Huddersfield defender Matty Pearson. Cardiff carried on wave after wave of attack and an inch perfect ball from Joe Ralls from a corner found Dimitrios Goutas in the box, and he doubled The Bluebirds leads. A first Bluebirds goal for Yakou Meite saw The Bluebirds go in at half time leading 3-0.
Callum Robinson was heckled down outside the Huddersfield box on 55 minutes, up stepped Perry Ng who found the top corner from twenty-five yards out. Huddersfield struck the bar late on but it wasn't enough as The Bluebirds ran out 4-0 winners.
Player Ratings:
Jak Alnwick (7) - Made two or three vital and impressive saves in order to keep a clean sheet. However, kicking needs to improve.
Perry Ng (8.5) - Wow. It's just what he does. A very solid performance to match an unbelievable free-kick. Dealt with Headley and Koroma fairly well.
Dimitrios Goutas (8) - Took his goal very well. A really good defensive performance, some key blocks and interceptions, very good goal line clearance late on as well.
Mark McGuinness (7) - No nonsense defensive performance, did what was required, kept things simple. Managed Kyle Hudlin very well.
Jamilu Collins (7) - Held his own against a very good winger in Sorba Thomas. Got caught out once or twice but made up for it with some key tackles. His determination to win the ball is impressive.
Manolis Siopis (8.5) - Trademark Sio. He was everywhere and Huddersfield didn't know what to do with him. Not only helped out defensively but also got forward. His key interceptions are game changing.
Joe Ralls (7) - A very professional performance, just did what was required. Kept Rudoni relatively quiet. Did everything that was necessary.
Callum Robinson (8.5) - Callum Robinson at his best. His footwork is brilliant and he reads the game so well, he's often a step ahead of the opposition. Fortunate for the goal but they all count.
Karlan Grant (7.5) - A decent outing for Grant whose carrying on his good form. A big reason in why Matty Pearson was subbed off at half-time as Pearson didn't really get a sniff against Grant tonight. Saw glimpses of him and Robbo's threat.
Josh Bowler (8) - Such a big threat when he's on his game. Nakayama didn't get near him. Footwork is top class. Arguably should've come away with at least one goal.
Yakou Meite (9) MOTM - Thought he was flawless. Huddersfield just couldn't deal with him. He ran their back three ragged. So glad he's finally off the mark as it's what he deserves for all his effort thus far.
Subs:
Ike Ugbo (6) - Unfortunately we stopped attacking when Ugbo came on, which obviously limited him. Some decent defensive work.
Rubin Colwill (6) - Same as Ugbo.
Ollie Tanner (5.5) - I think he was trying a little bit too hard. If he'd made one or two better decisions I think we could've scored five or six this evening. Some decent defensive work. Better decision making will come with more minutes.
Ryan Wintle (6) - One or two poor passes, other than that was pretty solid.
Ebou Adams (N/A) - Wasn't really involved. Stupid decision by the referee to book him.
Summary:
The perfect away performance from Erol Bulut's men. We've now set our standard and must reach them every week. An all-round great evening to be a Bluebird!
Next up for The Bluebirds is the Sevenside Derby as Bristol City travel to the CCS this weekend.
