BLUEBIRDS DEALT ANOTHER THRASHING

Cardiff City were beaten 4-1 by Hull City to confirm City's worst ever start to a league campaign.

Callum Robinson celebrating his goal.

The Bluebirds dominated the early spells of the game, as Callum O'Dowda and Anwar El Ghazi having headed efforts go wide.

City soon went in front, as Anwar El Ghazi found Callum Robinson who hit it the ball into the roof of the net.

The Tigers hit a quick fire double with Belloumi. The Hull forward's first came from long range to equalise. Belloumi's second came after a mistimed interception saw the forward in behind, as he lifted the ball over Alnwick into the City net.

Zambrano added a third early in the second half, as the midfielders effort took a deflection off Chambers to beat Alnwick.

Colwill and El Ghazi had fine efforts saved by Pandur, as the game began getting away from The Bluebirds. Rinomhota then fired over with two chances in the Hull box.

Bedia netted from the spot in stoppage time to confirm City's worst ever start to a league season.

Player Ratings:

Jak Alnwick (6.5) - Made some top saves to stop the score line from getting more embarrassing. Not sure Alnwick can do much for the four goals.

Perry Ng (4) - A pretty passive performance and then gave away a penalty. Just adding to a disappointing start to the season.

Will Fish (5) - Not sure what Fish is trying to do for the second goal. Was ok outside of that before his substitution.

Calum Chambers (5) - Started fairly well, but got worse as the game went on. Sloppy defensively and on the ball.

Jamilu Collins (4) - Really struggled against Belloumi, and ultimately can do better for the first two, granted JC was often outnumbered, the basics weren't done.

Alex Robertson (6) - On the ball, Robertson was fairly good. However, struggled off the ball, being asked to defend more than usually, and struggled.

Joe Ralls (5) - Passive performance. Offered very little defensively which left the defence constantly exposed. Was ok going forward.

Rubin Colwill (7) - Once again Cardiff's main positivity in attack. Grew into the game and deserved something in the end for his hard work. Worked hard defensively as well.

Anwar El Ghazi (6.5) - Great ball to find Robinson. Outside of that, El Ghazi was relatively positive and got in some good areas.

Callum O'Dowda (6) - A threat with his crosses. Also got in some good areas but didn't make the most of them. Quiet outside of that.

Callum Robinson (7.5) MOTM - One chance, one goal, what more can you ask? A great finish as well. Robinson added energy in attack and once again showed how important he is to this team.

Subs:

Andy Rinomhota (6) - Was solid defensively and added a bit of energy down the right. However, was underwhelming when the chances fell to him.

Ollie Tanner (5.5) - Had a pretty good chance, just tried the cute finish. Pretty quiet outside of that.

Chris Willock (6) - Added some positivity in attack. Decision making could've been a bit better, however did look a threat.

David Turnbull (6.5) - Also added positivity, and made some pretty decent passes, in particular one to Rinomhota that should've ended in a goal.

Wilfried Kanga (5) - Really should've made better use of chances given to him. Didn't add a great deal.

Summary:

Keep playing like that and we'll be in serious trouble.
