BLUEBIRDS CRUISE TO VICTORY

Cardiff City have beaten Barnsley 4-0 this evening in a routine victory for Brian Barry-Murphy's men.

Player Ratings:

Nathan Trott (8) - Back to his best tonight with some real top saves. Some great distribution at times, particularly to find Willock.

Perry Ng (8.5) - Took his goal excellently. Worked well with Ollie Tanner with some real dangerous ball in behind. Defensively flawless.

Will Fish (8) - Distribution was excellent. Defensively flawless, also. Dominated in the air and set the tone well for Cardiff.

Calum Chambers (8) - Similar to his centre-back partner. Kept City ticking well.

Joel Bagan (8) - Read the game very well , carrying it well and linking up well with Willock. Defensively sound, also.

Ryan Wintle (8.5) - Dictated things from offset, carrying the ball well and dominant out of possession. Range of passing was good, also. Just ran things for City.

Alex Robertson (5) - Picked up a frustrating yellow, but generally struggled. Weight of pass was poor, as was his set piece deliveries.

Joel Colwill (6.5) - Strong in his duels and carried the ball well. Got in some dangerous positions in behind. Tidy on the ball.

Ollie Tanner (7.5) - Picked up another assist and looked a threat throughout again. Retained possession well. Did his defensive duties to a good standard, also. Pressed very well.

Chris Willock (9.5) MOTM - Two very well-taken goals as well as an inch-perfect assist. Looked dangerous from the early stages, with his directness and skill, Defensively worked really hard.

Omari Kellyman (8) - Took his goal well, as well as a good assist. Led the line very well, pressed very well. Linked up very well, particularly with Willock.

Subs:

David Turnbull (7) - Dictated things well. Moved the ball well and had a good effort from distance saved.

Callum Robinson (6.5) - Came so close to a goal. Linked play well and worked hard.

Cian Ashford (6) - Never grew into the game, really. Retained possession well.

Isaak Davies (6) - Same as Ashford.
