Cardiff City ran out 5-1 winners over Northampton Town this afternoon.

Harry Tyrer (8) - Made a few sharp stops early on. Commanded his area very well. Distribution was quick and impressive, also. A very good debut.

Ronan Kpakio (7.5) - Carried on his impressive performance from midweek. Carried the ball forward well and tenacious out of possession.

Will Fish (8) - Passing was really impressive, with some real good diagonal plays. Defensively strong, particularly in the air.

Dylan Lawlor (7.5) - Another a strong showing. Excelled on the ball with an impressive range of passing and carried the ball well. Defensively solid.

Joel Bagan (8.5) - Excellent up and down the left. Plays a big part in Tanner's second with a dangerous cross. Some top balls to break the line. Defensively sound, also.

David Turnbull (8.5) - Game was ready-made for Turnbull. Dictated play brilliantly with some excellent passing on show. Spread play really well. Out of possession strong, also.

Joel Colwill (7.5) - Right place at the right time for his goal. Carried the ball well and strong out of possession.

Rubin Colwill (7.5) - Quality was on show from kick-off. Nice to set up his brother. Glided past players and progressed play well.

Ollie Tanner (8.5) - Two very well-taken goals, particularly the opener. Looked a constant threat down the right, direct and quick. Impressive out of possession.

Chris Willock (7.5) - A good cross for the opener. Some fine footwork on show and looked dangerous. Worked well with Bagan.

Callum Robinson (8.5) MOTM - Well-taken fortunate goal, and turned provider with a very unselfish pass to Yousef Salech. Linked play up nicely and worked hard out of possession. Buzzing for Robbo.

Subs:

Alex Robertson (5) - Responsible for the goal. Didn't really meet the tempo of the game.

Yousef Salech (7) - As easy as goals will come for Salech. Competed well.

Isaak Davies (6.5) - Showed some nice bursts of pace and carried the ball well. Nice return.

Omari Kellyman (6) - A quiet cameo.

Rob Tankiewicz (N/A) - Nice moment for 16 year-old Rob Tankiewicz to get a debut! Congratulations, Tankie.
