Player Ratings:
Jak Alnwick (6) - Made a few decent saves. Not a great deal he can do for both goals. Distribution varied.
Perry Ng (6) - Some nice pieces defensively and got in some decent areas offensively. Got caught out a few times and made some clumsy fouls.
Dimitrios Goutas (6.5) - Defensively sound and was decent in the air. Caused some problems going forward.
Calum Chambers (6) - Was solid throughout and commanded the back line well. Unfortunate for the second goal.
Joel Bagan (6.5) - Made some dangerous passes in behind. Defensively was fairly sound.
Alex Robertson (6.5) - Grew into the game and made a handful of decent chances. Some nice switches of play as well.
Joe Ralls (5) - Just slowed things down far too often for City. Added some aggressiveness and tenacity out of possession.
Callum O’Dowda (7) MOTM - Made some promising runs and got at QPR. Some really good crosses that his team mates failed to read. Giving his all at the moment.
Rubin Colwill (5) - Struggled to find any rhythm. Just needed to play the simpler ball more often. Can’t say he didn’t try, just things not falling Colwill’s way.
Ollie Tanner (6) - Tried hard to make things happen, but things just didn’t fall his way. Defensively decent.
Callum Robinson (5.5) - Not a great deal to shout about. Had a handful of decent chances just struggled to get a good connection on them. Linkup play was okay. Quiet evening for Robbo.
Subs:
Chris Willock (6) - Got in some dangerous areas and put a promising cross or two in. Should’ve really been brought on at half-time.
David Turnbull (6) - A tidy cameo appearance.
Yakou Meite (6.5) - Added energy late on and got in some good areas.
Summary:
We’re in trouble. Sleep walking into a position we won’t be able to get out of.
