ANOTHER BIG FIXTURE IN THE WELSH CAPITAL

Cardiff City return to the Welsh Capital as they host Hull City in a big game in the fight for Championship safety.

The Opposition:
Hull had a mixed start of the season under German boss, but after a downward spiral in form after the October International Break, the 49 year-old was dismissed and replaced by Ruben Selles. The Tigers have picked up under the Spaniard, with impressive away wins against Sheffield United and Sunderland during his reign so far.
Ruben Selles emphasizes high-intensity play, dynamic defence, and quick transition into the final third. He also prioritizes organization and counter-pressure when regaining the ball. Selles' preferred formation is 4-3-3 attacking. He also emphasizes making deep runs from the wingers and eights into certain spaces. Selles wants his team to apply high levels of counter-pressure when regaining the ball. The Spaniard wants his team to be vertical and combine to arrive in the final third.
The Tigers sit 20th ahead of this one, and could move up a position with a victory.
The Bluebirds:
City come into this one on the back of a draw at Plymouth. Yousef Salech's first half goal was cancelled out by a second half equaliser.
Cardiff could have a fair share of the ball, and should be looking to show what they did in the first half an hour against Plymouth, whilst being aware of Hull's quality on the counterattack.
Team News:
Cardiff City - Jak Alnwick a doubt. Callum Robinson possibly available. Dimitrios Goutas suspended. David Turnbull, Ollie Tanner, Jesper Daland and Ronan Kpakio remain out.
Hull City - Louie Barry a doubt. Mohamed Belloumi and Liam Miller out for the visitors. Oscar Zambrano suspended.
Preferred XI:
GK - Ethan Horvath
RB - Perry Ng
RCB - Will Fish
LCB - Joel Bagan
LB - Callum O'Dowda
RDM - Sivert Mannsverk
LDM - Andy Rinomhota
CAM - Rubin Colwill
RW - Anwar El Ghazi
LW - Will Alves
ST - Yousef Salech
Prediction:
Cardiff City 0-2 Hull City
Hull are good away from home, and we're not great at home, so it could be a difficult evening for City.
